We all know that our oceans are in trouble. They’re polluted with plastic, chemical waste, and other debris from all corners of the globe.

Unlike other kinds of waste, plastic does not decompose. That means plastic can stick around indefinitely, wreaking havoc on marine ecosystems. Some plastics float once they enter the ocean, though not all do. As the plastic is tossed around, much of it breaks into tiny pieces, called microplastics.

Marine plastic pollution is a complex problem, leaving every one of us with a part to play. We all tend to treat the ocean as our playground; therefore, we have a responsibility to care for the environment that we all love and depend on.

At havvic, we are dedicated to doing everything we can to help create a sustainable future by making a positive difference and leaving a lighter footprint for future generations. As a business, we have a responsibility to be transparent and open about what we are doing, and we look forward to documenting the progress of our sustainability journey as we grow.

Our aim, in the not-too-distant future, is to have all our products made from 100% recycled materials that would otherwise be destined for landfill. Along with our desire to use recycled materials, our aim as a business is to reduce our carbon footprint by offsetting our emissions where we can.

Tranquillity Changing Robes are designed and tested to withstand the wear and tear of an active lifestyle, therefore when we stock more and order less, we create less waste through purchasing better, helping customers think a little more and ultimately live sustainably.

At havvic, we look forward to keeping you updated as we grow and the day we are 100% Carbon Neutral and Certified B Corporation.
